Kevlar STSGel Vento is a leg protection that contains a protective layer of Kevlar.
This synthetic material is lightweight, impact-resistant, durable, and five times stronger than steel.
The horse's tendon is also protected by a shock-absorbing nitrex gel.
Synthetic materials have many advantages:
- The synthetic material is easier to keep clean and dries faster, and it also retains its softness and shape longer than regular sheepskin.
- Sand that enters the boot easily comes out again, reducing the risk of chafing.
- More comfortable and softer fit.
- Lasts longer. Regular sheepskin tends to become more yellow in color, dry out, and become stiff over time, while the synthetic material stays nice for longer.
