Bombers Dee-ring Segundo provides significant tongue relief while maintaining even pressure across the bars and encourages the horse to maintain light contact.

Horses generally find it more difficult to place their tongue over or cling to the bit.

D-ring bits function very similarly to eggbutt bits, reducing the risk of the horse being pinched in the lips/corners of the mouth and providing a more stable feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit from sliding through the mouth. The release is slightly slower, and some poll pressure is added.

The bit is made of sweet iron and will lose its color over time and become slightly rusty. Be diligent in drying the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent it from rusting too much and becoming rough.
