Cooling boots from Waldhausen

Cold therapies are generally considered to be particularly gentle and effective for acute injuries as well as having health-promoting effects. This cooling protection from Waldhausen, consisting of several separate cooling chambers, ensures optimal recovery after exertion and has a preventive effect to keep the ligaments, tendons, and joints in the horse's legs healthy.

Thanks to the generous size, these cooling boots can be used both front and back. They have a good fit and stay well in place thanks to the elastic Velcro straps.

Depending on the need, the protection can be used several times a day for about 20-30 minutes. Before use, the boot should be stored in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours or in the freezer for a shorter time.

The horse should not be left unattended during use. This form of cooling is also resource-saving and can replace the proven technique with water hoses.
