Plate from Waldhausen. A plate that attaches to the halter. Prevents, for example, the horse from biting the blanket of its pasture companion, without preventing it from eating. Consider the fit of the halter so that this does not sit too high or too low, as it affects the placement of the plate.

Tip – attach a spur strap between the noseband of the halter and the strap from the plate to keep it securely in place.
