Kimblehook (also called Flippan bit) is a side piece that is somewhat similar to a Pelham, but has a slightly milder effect and is usually ridden with a rein. It is easy to adjust how sharp the bit should be via the different hooks on the bit rings. Mildest in the regular ring and sharpest at the bottom. This mouthpiece has a bend that leaves room for the tongue and reduces pressure on the middle of the horse's tongue.
