Full Cheek bits are often good for horses that do not respond to the hand as desired. Can be used with one or two reins. Most often used with two reins, one attached to the bit ring and the other to the end of the gag straps.
Trust bits are handmade and made of sweet iron, which has a sweet taste and stimulates saliva production. Over time, the bits will lose their blue color and become rust-colored.
Be sure to dry the bit thoroughly after riding.
