KK Ultra bits are Sprenger's pioneers when it comes to bits as they have been developed after thorough research which has then led to other bits.

What makes Sprenger's bits so unique is, among other things, the precise effect they provide thanks to the middle link which is angled at 45°. In addition, the link in the middle is shorter than on many traditional 3-part bits, which optimizes the bit's effect. When the rider takes the reins, the middle part rolls smoothly over the tongue and stimulates a light pressure while the side links roll smoothly over the tongue without creating any direct pressure. A well-fitted KK Ultra bit gives the horse a more positive feeling and greater confidence in the bit, which is why it is so popular worldwide in all disciplines.

The side part is in the so-called Baucher design where the side pieces sit in a separate small ring and the reins in another slightly larger one. This makes the bit lie more still and slightly higher in the horse's mouth, and when you take a hold, the bit does not move as much in the mouth.
