Rheva is a molded wound protection/plaster for horses. Rheva is made of medical-grade plastic with a perforated bulge in the center. The plaster protects against infection risks such as dirt and insects, and the bulge creates an air pocket above the wound, providing a moist environment where oxygen can enter. Research shows that a favorable healing environment for wounds involves a certain level of humidity.
