The Check the Worm is a box that contains everything you need to get a quick answer on the parasite status of your horse. The sample is analyzed by Vidilab, which is Sweden's leading laboratory in fecal sample diagnostics.

Check the Worm is a sampling kit for worms in horses containing:

• Consignment note
• Sampling bag
• Instructions

In the fecal sample, eggs from the following can be detected:

• Bloodworm (cultivation required as an additional analysis to exclude large bloodworm)
• Roundworm
• Foal worm

The sample is analyzed for the presence of bloodworm, roundworm, foal worm, and possibly tapeworm on the same day it arrives at the laboratory, and the answer is sent no later than the following day. The cultivation response comes about two weeks after the first sample response. Answers are provided by email or letter.

The packaging is a return package with postage paid. The cost of laboratory work is included in the price.
