Kolla masken is a box that contains everything you need to quickly find out the parasite status of your horse. The sample is analyzed by Vidilab, Sweden's leading laboratory in fecal sample diagnostics.

Kollamasken is a sampling kit for parasites in horses containing:

• Consignment note
• Sampling bag
• Instructions

In the fecal sample, eggs from the following can be detected:

• Small strongyles (culturing is required as an additional analysis to rule out large strongyles)
• Roundworm
• Foal worm

The sample is analyzed for the presence of small strongyles, roundworm, foal worm, and possibly tapeworm on the same day it arrives at the laboratory, and the result is sent no later than the following day. The culture result is provided about two weeks after the first test result. Results are sent by email or letter.

The packaging is a return package with postage paid. The cost of laboratory work is included in the price.
