Fager’s Mary has everything you’ve ever wished for from a bridoon!
It has a fantastic design with a 100% smooth surface, even over the joints.
Mary’s joints are designed to never push up into the palate or create uneven pressure between the bars.
It is an extremely comfortable bit that naturally follows the tongue, freeing the bars from constant pressure. When you use Mary with Fager’s double bridle, it weighs 400g less than a normal double bridle set!
Mary is made with Fager’s new Anoblast™ technology which enables incredibly high quality. The gray color comes through a natural process during production so no additional coloring is needed.
Fager’s mouthpiece always has a horizontal shape and therefore never has a large forward bend. We do this to achieve a correct balance point (BP) in the mouth; if you make a bit with a larger forward bend, you also move the balance point, which stops the effectiveness of the aids.
Therefore, Mary has a unique design that protects both the bars and the rest of the mouth from sores. An ideal design for a sensitive horse, or can be described as follows:
- Shows discomfort with most bits you’ve tried
- Hard to accept the bit
- Feels stiff on one or both sides
- Pulls head up/pulls head down
