Fredric is made of titanium with low weight without locking. The low weight contributes to the horse more easily accepting the bit and getting quicker response to the rein aids than with a heavier bit.

The unique mouthpiece has the same thickness throughout without any breaks that can reach and press against the bars or palate. The Loose Baucher side piece is designed to protect the corners of the mouth and also the foremost cheek teeth by placing the pressure further forward in the mouth. This makes the side piece very good for horses that easily get sores.
