Carl is designed for the sensitive horse that can still become strong. With its anatomical shape that follows the mouth and the shape of the tongue, it is appreciated by many horses. The short, flat middle section eliminates contact with the palate and provides a much milder pressure over the tongue, resulting in a more even contact in the mouth. Many horses prefer to have as little pressure as possible over the tongue. Carl is therefore also suitable for horses with a low palate and thick tongue as the middle plate takes up very little space in the mouth.

Loose rings like this bit provide faster contact. As the mouthpiece lies loosely, the horse has more freedom to choose how it should lie in the mouth.

The bit is made of titanium, which neither gives taste nor rusts, this is appreciated by many horses as it does not give the bitter metallic taste. The light weight has proven to be very positive as the horse does not need to hold up the bit with the tongue or bars, which in turn can lead to unnecessary tension.

1-5 Best for horses that already have communication to the hand. Never become heavy in the hand or fall behind the hand.

5-7 Good for horses that can occasionally fall on the shoulders, bite into the side, or release the support.

7-8 Same as 5-7, with the addition for horses that can become strong and try to take over the bit from the rider's hand. 8-10 Same as above. Plus horses that can become very strong and escape from the aids.
