Bombers McHardy was developed for horses with sensitive tongues that dislike pressure on them, but became too dull on a regular Happy Tongue. Also for horses that tend to become a bit too low in the form.

The shape of the bit provides tongue relief without the bit being completely fixed. The link in the middle allows the side parts to move slightly and creates pressure on the bars, which has an uplifting effect on the horse's head. The Buster roller in the middle gives a slight pressure on the tongue when the horse becomes strong, which usually results in the horse pulling its head in a bit and not leaning as much. The result of this bit is that the horse wants to place its head upwards-inwards and has been very appreciated by dressage riders who want to lift the form of the horse a bit.

The loose rings provide a more direct contact with the horse's mouth without any delay in the rein aids, resulting in a quicker reaction both in terms of restraint and release.

The bit is made of sweet iron and will lose its color over time. Be careful to dry the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent it from rusting and becoming rough.
