Loose rings provide direct contact with immediate release where the pressure on the tongue and bars ceases as soon as the rider releases the rein, and the bit assumes a neutral position in the horse's mouth.The Buster Roller's center part is shortened to 40 mm, which increases the pressure on the bars and tongue, making the bit sharper than conventional three-piece bits. The increased pressure on the bars has a lifting effect, and the roller increases the pressure on the tongue, causing the horse to tuck its head in. Best suited for horses that carry their head low and lean on the bit.
