The bit has a 55mm center part that reduces pressure on the bars and instead distributes the pressure more over the tongue. The loose rings in the middle give the horse something to play with and keep focus on the bit.
Round Twist provides more pressure points on the bars and therefore becomes sharper than a regular smooth bit. This particular center part gives more pressure on the tongue than Control Plate or Elliptical.
The bit is made of sweet iron and will lose its color over time. Be careful to dry the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent it from rusting and becoming rough.
