2½-Ring Moulded Mullen bit from Bombers.

The unique design with its flatter middle section is angled at 45 degrees to sit correctly in the mouth and provide a soft and evenly distributed pressure around the tongue.

The bit has a rubber-like structure that withstands the horse chewing lightly on the bit. Inside the bit, there is a flexible stainless steel wire that has been injection molded with a synthetic material. This is FDA approved, non-toxic, and UV resistant.

The bit is particularly appreciated by horses that do not like metal bits or have a sensitive mouth where it feels like everything has been tried. Also good if the horse has injuries on the bars as the mouthpiece is designed to apply as little pressure on the bars as possible with an acceptable pressure on the tongue.

2 1/2-ring bits provide a slight poll pressure and a small leverage in the mouth. It is possible to attach a strap at the back to get more effect from the leverage. This side piece is the mildest of the various multi-ring bits available.
