The 2½-Ring bit is the softest version of multi-ring bits as the ½-ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and the pressure on the neck.

A horse that shakes its head when it feels pressure from the bit or is restless with its tongue are classic signs that the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind, McHardy was created. It has a medium port that creates space for the tongue and reduces pressure. The Buster Roller in the middle increases pressure on the bars and thus lifts the horse's head and provides more control.

The bit is made of sweet iron and will lose its color over time. Be careful to dry the bit thoroughly after each use to prevent it from rusting and becoming rough.
