The zippers at the front and back, along with the elastic leg straps on the inside of the skirt, allow you to get protection against rain and bad weather even in the saddle. The two-way zipper is separable at the top, making the skirt easy to put on and take off, even when you are on horseback. The skirt compresses when you fold it and can then be easily packed into the accompanying packing bag, making it easy to carry with you.

The nylon fabric of the ripstop model has a construction that provides good protection against rain and bad weather. Between the lining and the outer fabric is a layer of mesh that absorbs any moisture from both the inside and outside of the garment (it is otherwise completely unlined unlike the other garments in the Regular Sport family).
