The well-fitted design of the Bemelmans curb bit helps you keep the horse forward on the bit. It has a soft, rounded, and slightly forward-angled port designed to follow the arch of the palate. The thickness of the bit tapers slightly at the top of the arch to avoid being too thick in the palate. The bit provides a soft and even distribution of pressure across the entire tongue thanks to its design, which also means that horses that tend to put their tongue over the bit do not feel the same need to do so. The bit is also suitable for horses with thicker tongues that do not like tongue pressure and show it by, among other things, sticking their tongue out of the mouth. The 7cm long shank provides a sharper leverage effect and thus also a slightly delayed release compared to a shorter shank.

Like most Sprenger bits, this model is also made of Sensogan, which is nickel-free and promotes saliva production in the horse.

Should only be used by experienced riders with a soft hand.
