Sweden's most delightful equestrian gear store

Sprenger's popular Dynamic RS bits are available in many different designs.

This model is a two-part bit with loose rings.

Common two-part bits often have a common denominator, which is that one link is longer than the other, resulting in sharper pressure on the edges of the tongue. To avoid this, Sprenger has twisted the link 45 degrees forward, providing more even pressure on the edges of the tongue while not going as much up towards the palate. It is suitable for horses that do not like the pressure on the tongue that a three-part bit gives, as a two-part bit provides more tongue freedom.

The loose rings provide faster contact with the horse's mouth and thus also a quicker release of the rein. Loose rings are often suitable for horses that easily become a bit numb in the mouth with fixed rings.

The bit is made of Sprenger's famous sensogan, which is nickel-free and promotes saliva production, inviting a more honest contact with the bit. The arrow on one side of the bit should sit in the left corner of the mouth and point forward, then the bit is positioned correctly.
