Cheval Intestinal Cleanser removes waste and toxins from the horse's intestines and lays the foundation for a healthy and balanced digestive function.

The seed husks from psyllium are very rich in fiber. These fibers massage the intestinal wall, scrape the intestinal wall clean from deposits (plaque), stimulate intestinal mobility, and effectively expel feces. The plaque contains old, dried feces and undigested feed that prevent the intestinal wall from absorbing nutrients. Plaque residues are transformed into useless waste products, toxins, which leak into the bloodstream and lymphatic system. This can in turn cause nutrient deficiencies and diseases.

Psyllium fiber binds liquid in the stomach and intestines, giving the intestinal contents a more suitable consistency for better digestion.

It also releases a gel-like substance that lubricates and protects the intestinal wall from new plaque accumulation.

Prevents sand colic:

When the horse roots for food in the paddock, it ingests sand. The gel binds this sand, which is then expelled with the feces.

DOSAGE

Cleansing:

1 hg (just under 1.5 dl) twice daily for 7-10 days, once a month.

Maintenance dosage:

½ - 1 hg given once daily.

• The dosage is calculated for a horse weighing 500 – 600 kg; halve for a small horse/pony.
