Loose rings provide direct contact with immediate release, where the pressure on the tongue and bars ceases as soon as the rider releases the rein and the bit returns to a neutral position in the horse's mouth.

The Elliptical Lock Up removes the nutcracker action of the conventional three-piece, which means less pressure on the bars, but more on the tongue. The Elliptical Lock Up is therefore a softer alternative than a conventional Elliptical, but stronger than a Control Plate.
The Comfy mouthpiece is more curved than a standard mouthpiece, which reduces the pressure on both the bars and the tongue. Suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth.
