Cold water therapy in the form of a leg protector. The bandage contains microcrystals that transform into a cooling gel when soaked. The crystals fill quilted voids in the fabric and form a soft gel cushion that envelops all parts of the leg when the protector is on. This cold gel compress provides support for reduced swelling and bruising, cools tendons after training, and treats soft tissue injuries. Convenient Velcro fastening. Non-sticky and reusable - the gel is enclosed in the fabric and returns to microcrystals when it dries. The horse maintains its freedom of movement during treatment. Comes in a 2-pack.

Usage

• Soak the protectors in clean water for 24 hours before first use. Thereafter, in cold clean water for at least 60 minutes before treatment. In very hot weather or for extra cooling effect, you can add ice to the water or place the protectors in the refrigerator after soaking. NOTE! Do not freeze!
• Ensure the legs are free from mud and other dirt.
• Shake off excess water.
• Attach the protectors with an even, light pressure. Leave on for about 20 minutes.
• Rinse off and let air dry after use. With regular use, the protectors can be stored in a bucket of clean cool water.
