Bit from Trust Equestrian.
This bit has an elliptical mouthpiece which is a standard mouthpiece. It is divided in two places, shaped slightly forward in the mouth and lies a bit looser. Compared to a two-piece bit, this bit applies a little more pressure on the tongue.
The side part of this bit has two and a half rings which provide more control than a regular ring. The Beval side part has several options for attaching the reins. The cheek piece is attached to the upper half ring and the reins can then be attached either to the large ring or the lower half ring. When the reins are attached to the large ring, a little pressure is applied to lower the horse's head. When the reins are attached to the lower half ring, it creates a slight leverage effect.
Trust bits are handmade and made of sweet iron, which has a sweet taste and stimulates saliva production. Over time, the bits will lose their blue color and become rust-colored.
Be sure to dry the bits thoroughly after riding.
All bits from Trust are made in Holland. They are designed, developed, and handmade entirely in Holland. They are manufactured with the utmost care and attention to detail using the best materials. A comprehensive quality control is carried out, and therefore the standard of bits from Trust is very high.
