The mouthpiece is angled forward over the tongue to give a sensitive tongue space and increase comfort for your horse.

When the chain engages upon rein contact, Sebastian's arch/tongue relief transfers and applies pressure against the tongue and lifts the pressure off the bars. This is because the bars should not have such a large load when the chain presses the bit against the bars and the tongue is left completely free. There the tongue must take over the force. With Sebastian, we remove the constant pressure against the tongue but maintain clarity in contact.
