Waldhausen SCANDIC Multi-Layer Outdoor Rug – Lightweight and smart temperature regulation

This outdoor rug from Waldhausen combines comfort, durability, and innovative design to provide your horse with the best possible protection in all weather conditions. Made from robust 1200 denier ripstop material, the rug is both waterproof (3000 mm water column) and breathable, making it ideal for daily use in the paddock.

The unique multi-layer filling is cleverly designed: 150 g along the back, where the horse loses the most heat, and 50 g on the sides for a lighter feel and better fit. The result is optimal protection for the sensitive back area while keeping the weight down.

The rug features a V-front closure with extra Velcro for stability, kick pleat for full freedom of movement, and foam inserts at the withers for pressure relief. Reflective details and an extra-large tail flap with reflective print increase visibility and safety in the dark.
