The secret lies in the innovative layers of material inside the protector: the innermost layer, which is in contact with the horse's leg, is in two-way stretch for maximum comfort. The middle layer is Aerox, micro-perforated neoprene, the microscopic holes are designed to let the heat from the leg through.
The outermost layer is a special 3D material with mesh, this material facilitates the movement of warm air upwards. The shock-absorbing shell has ventilation holes at the bottom where cool air is drawn in and additional holes at the top where the warm air is pushed out.
