FiberPlex is based on a fiber complex and lecithin, which together are active in a large part of the digestive system. Lecithin should be present in the stomach and protects the mucous membranes against stomach acid.
FiberPlex also contains the fiber concentrate PV70, extracted from the cell walls of Swedish potatoes, which in trials has shown to increase enzyme activity. This contributes to the efficient metabolism of protein in the feed, among other things, by releasing the essential amino acid lysine. PV70 mainly acts in the pancreas and small intestine.
FiberPlex also contains a fermented yeast culture that nourishes the microorganisms in the cecum and colon. A healthy microflora is important as it leads to better nutrient absorption from the feed, which in turn leads to better performance. Inulin works with the yeast culture to help beneficial microorganisms establish themselves in the gut, balancing the pH in the stomach and intestines. This leads to better feed breakdown, resulting in more efficient nutrient absorption from roughage and concentrates.
FiberPlex has a high water-holding capacity, which is important if the horse has diarrhea. Diarrhea occurs when the gut flora is disturbed, favoring the growth of the wrong types of bacteria that disrupt the gut culture. This negatively affects feed breakdown, which in turn negatively impacts nutrient absorption and eventually the immune system.

DOSAGE / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Horse up to 500 kg: 1.5 dl powder mixed well with 3.5 dl water. Given 2 times/day for 1-6 months.
Horse over 500 kg: 2 dl powder mixed well with 4.5 dl water. Given 2 times/day for 1-6 months.
C-pony and smaller: 1 dl powder mixed well with 2.5 dl water. Given 2 times/day for 1-6 months.
Mix immediately before feeding, distribute the mixture in the concentrate feed. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use or when the feeding period is extended.
