The unique design with its flatter center part is angled at 45 degrees to sit correctly in the mouth and provide a soft and evenly distributed pressure around the tongue. The bit has a rubber-like texture that withstands the horse chewing lightly on the bit. Inside the bit, there is a flexible stainless steel wire that has been injection molded with a synthetic material. This is FDA approved, non-toxic, and UV resistant.
