Eggbutt from Bombers.

The eggbutt prevents the horse from being pinched in the lips/corners of the mouth by the bit rings and provides a more stable feel against the horse. The eggbutt keeps the bit steady in the horse's mouth. The Mullen is a fairly strong mouthpiece that gives direct pressure on the tongue. Suitable for older, strong horses. Helps the horse to lower its head.

The mouthpieces are made of sweet iron and brass and are shaped to distribute pressure over a larger area. The rings/cheeks are made of stainless steel.
