STS TRC Vento High is a high front leg protector (shorter than the rear protector) with an elastic strap and double velcro fastening.
The inside is made of soft synthetic sheepskin, which is suitable for horses with somewhat sensitive skin and coat.
Synthetic material has many advantages:
- The synthetic material is easier to keep clean and dries faster, it also retains softness and shape longer than regular sheepskin.
- Sand that gets into the protector easily comes out again, reducing the risk of chafing.
- More comfortable and softer fit.
- Lasts longer. Regular sheepskin tends to become yellower in color, dry out, and become stiff over time, whereas the synthetic material stays nice longer.
