Trust bits are handmade and made of sweet iron, which has a sweet taste and stimulates saliva production. Over time, the bits will lose their blue color and become rust-colored. Be sure to dry the bits thoroughly after riding.

Full Cheek bars are especially good for young horses or horses that are difficult to turn. When the rider pulls on one rein, the Full Cheek bar on the opposite side helps move the head in the right direction, making steering easier.

The gag bit is used with special cheek pieces that run through two loops where the rein is attached to the ring at one end. The gag applies pressure on the poll and the bars. It is suitable for horses that easily drop their back and raise their neck while becoming a bit strong.

The center piece is Trust's "French Link," which resembles a lying figure eight. The shape helps distribute an even and softer pressure on the horse's tongue.
