Mesh Fly Rug Comfort offers maximum protection against insects, making it perfect for horses with very sensitive skin. The rug is equipped with a Comfort buckle, which eliminates pressure and makes it extra comfortable during turnout. For added comfort and protection, a removable neck piece is included.

The fly rug is made of a tightly structured mesh fabric that keeps most insects away. The fabric is extremely durable and becomes an ideal companion in the paddock for many summers. The inside is smooth and soft to prevent hair from sticking to the rug. Thanks to the light color, sunlight is reflected instead of absorbed, which helps prevent overheating. The fine mesh fabric also ensures good airflow. The mane, chest, and tail areas are lined with smooth polyester to prevent chafing.

Mesh Fly Rug Comfort is anatomically designed to stay in place even after the horse rolls. At the front, the rug features the Comfort buckle, which is easy to fasten and prevents pressure. To protect the belly, the rug has a belly flap that closes with Velcro and three straight surcingles. Since the belly flap fits closely to the horse's belly, insects are prevented from entering from the sides. The tail flap is slightly longer than usual and has an elastic band for the tail, ensuring the tail stays close to the rug and providing extra protection. The removable neck piece is reinforced with a stronger band to prevent it from slipping down. Since the reinforcement is on both sides of the neck, the pressure is distributed evenly and avoids strain on the mane.

The Mesh Fly Rug can be machine washed at 30 degrees and should be air dried afterwards. We do not recommend using a tumble dryer.
