Sweden's loveliest equestrian store

Frans is a curb bit with a unique design and shape. Made of German Silver, which resembles sweet iron but provides a more electric taste.

The slight, anatomical bend forward and upward ensures the bit sits stably in the horse's mouth and follows its natural curves. The pressure is distributed as evenly as possible over the horse's mouth without creating any pressure points.

The loose rings allow the horse to place the bit where it is comfortable and also provide a quick response to the hand.

This is a bit suitable for horses that do not like movable bits, appreciate flavorful bits, or young horses seeking stability.

Strength: 7/10

With strength 1-10

1-5 Best for horses that already have communication to the hand.

Never become heavy in the hand or fall behind the hand.

5-7 Good for horses that occasionally fall on the shoulders, bite the side, or lose support.

7-8 Same as 5-7, with the addition for horses that can become strong and try to take over the bit from the rider's hand. 8-10 Same as above. Plus horses that can become very strong and evade aids.

The Fager logo should always be on your horse's right side, with the text facing forward
