The Comfort Bar is anatomical and lies evenly over the tongue and bars, and is shaped to provide more space for the tongue. Thanks to its shape, the Comfort Bar remains very still in the horse's mouth. Mullen mouth bits are generally considered to be very mild.
The soft Comfort Bar is ideal for young and sensitive horses. Very suitable for hot horses that do not accept pressure only in the mouth. The upper rein applies pressure to the bars and over the nose bridge, while the lower rein acts as a curb gag.
