Sprenger's popular Dynamic RS bits are available in many different versions.
This model is a 3-piece bit with a loose 2.5-ring cheekpiece.
Dynamic RS is designed to sit anatomically correctly between the tongue and the palate, applying the mildest possible pressure on the sensitive parts of the horse's mouth. The central link is angled forward at 45° to provide the gentlest possible pressure on the tongue. The outer links are shaped to follow the contour of the tongue, making the rein aid more precise and effective without being harsh. When used correctly, the Dynamic RS mouthpiece encourages good contact even with sensitive horses.
The cheekpiece is very versatile and can be used in 4 different ways. Depending on where the rein is attached, you can influence the pressure on the poll and the bars. With a curb strap (strap under the chin), you can also reduce the pressure on the poll and increase it on the bars instead. The design of the side rings gives the leverage effect a slight delay, making it less sharp.
A good alternative for a horse that needs something sharper than a regular bit without being too severe.
The bit is made from Sprenger's famous Sensogan, which is nickel-free and promotes salivation, encouraging a more honest contact with the bit.
Bit ring diameter: 70 mm
